Pure Vermeil- Endorsed by Fan Bingbing

Overall Experience:

Packaging: Lipstick comes encased in sophisticated black casing signed by star Fan Bingbing. Packaging is very similar to L’Oreal Paris moist matte lipsticks. However I liked the casing of L’Oreal moist matte one more. The casing has the shade block similar to the shade of the lipstick. Shade of the bullet is quite unique like the moist matte ones.

Shade: Pure Vermeil is a stunning shade from the entire range. It is a neon red coral pink shade and looks quite bold in person. I would recommend this shade alongwith Lincoln rose and Flaming Kiss for to be going brides. It looked similar to Lincoln rose but more bold and bright than the former.

Pigmentation & Coverage: It is richly pigmented shade. After a long time, I came across a range which is so intensely pigmented. It gives opaque coverage with two swipes. It completely conceals my pigmented lips. It is a great shade for people with pigmented lips.

Texture & Finish: Texture and finish is almost similar to most matte lipsticks. These shades come with matte finish and velvety soft texture. It feels very lightweight on my lips. It never makes my lips chapped or dry. It keeps my lips hydrated for a long time. It did not settle into lines and did not accentuate the appearance of lines .It is the best matte lipstick we now have in the market. I just wish the bullet would not break or melt during summers.

Staying Power: I wore this lipstick in the morning and it lasted on my lips for some 4-5 hours with light meals in between. The shade does not fade completely. It fades evenly leaving deep warm fuchsia pink stain which looks amazing on my NC 42 skin tone.

Worth Repurchasing: Absolutely! No doubt about that. Hoping to get a back up for this shade on offer next time. Fingers crossed. :p

L'Oreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Lincoln Rose Review

Last month I had reviewed one of my favorite red orange matte lipstick from L'Oreal Paris.Today I am back with a review on another favorite from Loreal moist matte range.Please check my review and have a look at the pics.Though these are priced at 899 bucks, I am no more complaining as almost all brands like colorbar and Lakme have hiked the prices of their lipsticks to 800 bucks.

Packaging: Lipsticks are encased in beautiful copper tinted twist up steel packaging. I loved the packaging but I feel these lipsticks are quite brittle. After reading reviews from many of my blogger friends, I already knew these were brittle so was extra careful. But still after couple of uses, this lipstick broke off from the base. So now I have to use a lip filler brush for every application.

Price: INR 899 for 4.2 grams

Shadewise:  Lincoln Rose is a stunning reddish pink shade with raspberry fuschia tones. It would suit all kinds of skin tones .Apart from Flaming kiss, this is another must have shade from this range.

Pigmentation: Its intensely pigmented and even one swipe gives nearly opaque coverage on my pigmented lips. With two swipes I get full coverage.

Texture & Finish: It has creamy matte kind texture which can melt during summers. Its a one of the best matte lipsticks which feels very comfortable on my lips. I really loved it on my lips much more than Mac matte lipsticks. Its finish is matte which I really love, and despite being matte it keeps my lips hydrated for a long time. There are absolutely no chapped lips after I remove my makeup. With many matte lipsticks at the end of the day, my lips get really dry and flaky. True to its name, it keeps my lips moist till the end of the day.

Staying power: Stays for 5 hours + with even fading. It leaves beautiful raspberry fuschia stain on my lips after fading which stays for a long time.

Loreal Moist Matte Lipstick in Flaming Kiss Review

I am extremely happy to be able to write again for my blog after a long time. Someone had hacked my blog and many issues had cropped up so I was not able to log into it. Recently a friend of mine helped me and I felt like writing again. I missed all my avid readers who were disappointed when I had stopped writing, love you guys for all your love.

I would like to write a quick review on this shade and range:

Packaging: Lipsticks are encased in beautiful copper tinted twist up steel packaging. I loved the packaging but I feel these lipsticks are quite brittle. After reading reviews from many of my blogger friends, I already knew these were brittle so was extra careful. But still after couple of uses, this lipstick broke off from the base. Shadewise: Flaming Kiss is a stunning reddish orange shade. It would suit warm skin tones a lot. This is the exact red that suits me a lot. Its my perfect red I feel. Its a must have shade from this range.

Pigmentation: Its intensely pigmented and even one swipe gives nearly opaque coverage. With two swipes I get excellent results. Its a headturner kind of intense shade :p

Texture & Finish: It has soft gel cream kind texture which can melt during summers. Its a one of the best matte lipsticks which feels very comfortable on my lips. Its feather light and gives me that no lipstick kind of feel. Its finish is matte which I really love, and despite being matte it keeps my lips hydrated for a long time. No chapped lips after I remove my makeup.

Staying power: Stays for 5 hours + with even fading.

Recently I checked the L'Oreal Paris Infallible range at a cosmetic store.Their range of eye shadows caught my attention and I ended up buying one of the shades.There are some nine shades, out of those I got the shade 'Endless Chocolat' 12 for me.I really wanted to get three more shades (Burning Black, Eternal Black, All Night Blue) but the store had kept only testers, no fresh piece were available, the SA wanted to me to get the testers. :(

My Take On This Product:

I recently checked out the Infallible range launched by L'Oreal paris in India.I quite liked the feel of their foundation, the shade 'Radiant Sand' matched my skin tone bought then I thought to buy it later as I have to finish my 5 existing number of foundations :p After checking their foundations, the infallible range of eye shadows caught my attention.There were some 8 shades in all and these shadows claim to be smudge resistant, water proof  with a staying power of 24 hours.I got the shade 'Endless Chocolat' for me.I wanted to get three more shades too but fresh ones were not there, so I left the store and thought to wait for this range to arrive at online shopping sites.

These eye shadows come in square transparent jars with a screw on lid and a plastic separator to avoid damage.I really loved their packaging, its cool, sturdy,  travel friendly and one can see the shade through the transparent jar.There are some 8  shadows launched in India :

-Forever Pink- Its a light pink shade with shimmers

-Hourless Biege- Beige shade with shimmers

-Purple Obsession- Very pretty light purple shade

-All Night Blue- Its a Royal Blue shade, very similar to Inglot Pearl 428

-Burning Black- Its a Blackened Violet shade. This one is similar to Inglot Pearl 426 but bit more blackened.

-Permanent Kaki- Its a khaki green shade, similar to Faces Canada pigment in 'Forest Green'

-Endless Chocolat- Its true brown shade with fine Golden Shimmers. Inglot Pearl 409 is similar to it.

-Flashback Silver- Silver shade with shimmers

-Eternal Black- Black shadow with loads of silver shimmers

The shade 'Endless Chocolat' is a pure Brown shade with very very fine golden shimmers which impart a warm sheen to eyes.These shadows are in pressed form and their texture seems to be something in between cream and powder,almost buttery soft.If you have used Chambor single touch Blush then you will understand what I want to say.You need to softly swipe across its surface to get enough pigmentation and product for your entire lid.One gets 3.5 grams and 450 bucks which I find reasonable considering its quality and pricing policy of L'Oreal Paris.

This shadow blends seamlessly within seconds like a dream.I have fallen in love with this shadow friends, I soooo want to get this in other shades soon.This shade can be applied alone as light wash on the lids or with some other shades too.It has very very fine golden shimmers, though I don't much like shimmery shadows but this one is different.It has absolutely zero fall out and can be used during day time too as shimmers are ultra fine and impart a pearlescent sheen.

One thing I noticed was this shade is intensely pigmented and adheres to my lid well, I can skip an eye shadow base easily.Without a primer its stayed on my eyes for 7 hours plus with no creasing, after that I removed it so I think its staying power is much more that.The quantity is huge and one requires very less amount so its going to last for a long time.So guys if you like brown shadows then definitely check out this shade! I do highly recommend this entire range of shadows to all of you.Myself, going to get 3-4 other shades in this range very soon.

-It stayed on my eyes for more than 7 hours without a primer, after that I removed it with a makeup remover so it lasts longer than that without an eye primer.

-These come in see through jars with sturdy packaging.

-Its travel friendly and packaging is safe and damage proof.

-It claims to stay on eyes for 24 hours.

L'Oreal Paris Color Infallible 24 hours shadows are available in some eight shades at all L'oreal Paris counters.These come in transparent jars with 3.5 grams of product for Rs 450.One needs just a bit for applying each time, so it will last for a long time.These shadows are absolutely creaseproof, smudgeproof and water proof.Shades are intensely pigmented and one can easily skip using an eye shadow base.I am going to buy few more shades from this range.I do Highly recommend you all to try this range for sure.

L'oreal Paris Superliner 24 Hour Waterproof Gel Liner - 02 Brown

My Fellow Blogger Siri Sekhar of the wonderful blog Siri-mythoughts wanted to see the swatches of L'oreal Gel Liner in shade 'Brown' side by side with the swatches of Faces Eyeliner Pencil 'Metal Brown' which I found to be its closest dupe, so here I am reviewing it for all of you sweeties!

My Take On This Product:

I had purchased this gel liner last year in the month of June from a store at Kolkata.It was an impulse buy, I had really not thought picking this up.I had actually gone to purchase Maybelline gel liner in Black and ended up buying both Maybelline and L'Oreal Gel liner in Brown.I wanted to purchase gel liner in shades Black and Brown.The SA showed me the L'Oreal gel liner, at that time I didn't know its price and was taken aback after hearing its price :p I mean after paying half the bucks for Maybelline Gel liner for almost same quantity I had never expected I would have to cough up double the amount for this beauty :p

This gel liner comes in a glass jar with a gel liner brush provided with it.The quality of the brush is much better than the brush provided with Maybelline gel liner and the overall look and packaging is far more attractive and sophisticated.You can draw both thick and thin lines with the brush provided with it.The Gel liner is seriously of awesome quality, now I understand why its charged double the price of Maybelline gel liner.Its very creamy and just one swipe gives me fabulous pigmentation, I don't need to dip my brush in liner for more.Its been almost 9 months since I bought it, still the texture has not changed even a single bit.Its same soft and creamy as it was.This liner is not only 'Waterproof' but also 'Smudge proof'. It stays on my eyes without any base for whole day till I do not remove it with a makeup remover.It does not get removed entirely with a face wash.I have been using it so much, still it refuses to finish as very little gel is required for each application.

This range has only two shades:

-Black

-Brown

The Black one is completely matte but the brown one is a pretty warm brown shade with subtle golden specks which are evenly distributed in the gel liner.This is Gel liner is of best quality among all the drugstore liners available at market and totally worth its price.

Pros Of The Product:

-Its a pretty warm brown shade with visible golden specks in it.

-Very much wearable shade, can be worn both during and night.

-The Texture of the gel liner is very soft and creamy and remains same for a long time.Its been 9 months I bought this liner and I haven't noticed a single change in its formulation till now.

-Its highly pigmented and you require just a swipe for lining your eyes.

-Its completely Waterproof.

-Its smudge proof too.

-It stays on my eyes for the whole day till I do not remove it with a makeup remover.

-It dries up within seconds after applying on my eyes.

-Can be used as eyeshadow base too.

-The packaging is travel friendly and attractive.

-Its provided with a gel liner brush of very good quality.

-One can draw both thin and thick lines with the brush provided with it.

-Its quality is far better than any gel liner I have used till date ( I have used Inglot, Bharat & dorris, Maybelline, Tips & toes gel liners only)

-This shade will flatter all Indian skin tones.

-It will last you for a very long time indeed.

-Did not dry up even a bit like other gel liners.

-Never makes my eyes feel uncomfortable or stretchy.

-I have lined my waterline too with it few times and it never stung me, however I would not advise you to do the same.

Cons Of The Product:

-Its price is a major turn off, not budget friendly at all.

-Quantity provided is only 2.8 grams.

-Only two shades are available. :(

-Those who like sporting only matte liners may like it.
