Auravedic Honey Almond Pulpy Face Wash

Hello Friends!
Today I am going to review Auravedic Honey Almond Pulpy Face wash.So sweeties go through my review to know more about this unique facial cleanser.

What the Company claims: This pure moisturizing Face Wash combines honey and sweet almond oil, providing a luxurious blend, gently cleansing, nourishing and rejuvenating the skin, leaving it feel refreshed and invigorated, ready to tackle the day.

Directions for use : Scoop on to fingertips and gently massage over skin before rinsing it off.

Ingredients: Jojoba oil, Almond oil, Rose oil, Saffron extract, Geranium oil, Neroli oil, Khus oil, Honey, Coconut fatty acid, Triathanolamine, Phenoxyethanol.

Price: Rs 150 for 50 Grams, Rs 250 for 100 Grams.

Variants Available:
-Rose Saffron Pulpy Face Wash
-Neem Tea Tree Pulpy Face Wash

My Take On This Product:
Auravedic Honey and Almond Cleanser comes in a white tub with a screw cap and a plastic separator that prevents the cleanser from spilling or spreading to the cap. Once you open the separator , you can see the cleanser is brown colored and has fruit jam kind of consistency. Initially you get a strong burst of fruity fragrance changing to strong coconut oil kind fragrance. The cleanser is very thick, dense and concentrated. One needs just a pea nut sized quantity for cleansing face. It contains concentrated fruit acids so one should not bring it near eyes. Its very strong and stings a lot if enters eyes by chance. I found this cleanser very unique, I have never seen anything like this before. Whenever I use it and apply on my face, it forms a waxy film which when comes in contact with water results in soft lather.

This product is free of SLS and any kind of harmful preservative. Without a foaming base, I thought it wont be able to cleanse properly, but I was absolutely wrong. It not only cleanses my face properly, but leaves it squeaky clean and yet does not strip my skin of moisture even results in smooth and baby soft skin. I have observed after using this product there is visible reduction in appearance of pores remarkably. I really like everything about this cleanser except the following two things:

1-With regular use, product comes out while placing the separator cap back and accumulates near the mouth of jar thus making it messy and unhygienic.

2-I am a person who is always in a hurry and thus do not prefer to use separate cleansers for face and eyes.

Pros Of The Product:
-Its free of SLS and harmful preservatives.
-This cleanser is rich in fruit acids, Almond and Honey extracts.
-Produces mild lather yet leaves skin squeaky clean.
-Removes facial makeup too.
-Makes my skin smooth and baby soft.
-Significantly reduces the appearance of pores.
-Removes temporary tans too leaving brighter complexion.
-Packaging is quite sturdy.
-Considering the amount required for each wash and the quality of the product, price is reasonable.
-Available now at several shopping websites.
-Never broke me out or made my skin dry.
-It maintains the optimum oil- moisture balance of the skin.

Cons Of The Product:
-It stings a lot if it enters your eyes by chance.
-With regular use, the tub becomes messy and unhygienic.
-Not easily available at departmental stores.
-Quantity should have been more.
-It feels cumbersome to use a separate cleanser for eyes.
-May not suit sensitive skin.

Rating:
Quality: 4.5 out of 5
Packaging: 3.25 out of 5
Effectiveness: 4.25 out of 5
Price: 3.75 out of 5
Availability: 3.5 out of 5
Overall Rating: 3.75 out of 5

Will I repurchase it? I want to try their another variant- Rose Saffron Pulpy face wash.

My Overall Recommendation: Auravedic Honey Almond Face wash is a very mild cleanser free from SLS and other harmful preservatives. It leaves my skin smooth, soft and removes mild tan. This cleanser contains concentrated fruit acids and therefore should not be used near eyes. If you do not mind tub packaging and the price factor then you should definitely go for this.Quality wise, its one of the best cleansers I have ever used.

Street Wear True Color Eye Shadow- Green With Envy, Swatches, Review, EOTD

Hello Friends!
Today I am going to review and post swatches of an eye shadow quad 'Green with Envy' from Street Wear. Recently Sukanya wanted my make up break down of an EOTD where I had used all shades from this particular quad.So checkout my review to know if this quad was a dud or winner.

Price: Rs 425 for 4.8 Grams

Shades Available:
-Green With Envy: It has particular shades:
>Khaki Gold
>Lemon Green
>Forest Green
>Khaki Green

There are other two quads, one of them is for smokey eye makeup and has White, Grey, Royal Blue and Black shades. The other quad is suitable for wedding eye makeup and has Beige, Yellow Gold, Copper, Maroon Brown shades respectively.

My Take On This Product:
Some two weeks back, I had been to a cosmetic store at our place to check Glam on collection launched by Faces Canada. To utter dismay, that cosmetic store has discontinued keeping Faces Canada products as no one here is aware of the brand and they had to bear losses for it. :( Anyways I was about to leave the store,so the SA asked me to check products from Revlon and Streetwear.I was not interested but still thought to give a look at their stock. While checking all products, my eyes fell upon this quad and I really liked it very much. There was no particular tester of this quad, so it was risky purchasing it.There are two more quads in this range, I checked those and really liked their pigmentation and shades.I am in love with green shadows these days, so without wasting time I purchased this quad.Immediately after coming back to my room, I swatched it and tried several looks. One thing I noticed that these quads were very similar to 'Revlon Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow Quads' in terms of quality, pigmentation, quantity, and even packaging.

The Quad 'Green with Envy' comes in a sleek silver box with a transparent see through lid and a mirror inside of the transparent cover. Two sponge applicators, one broad and another quite thin and small have been provided too.Though no of very good quality still can be used during emergency and for touch ups. I use the thin eye shadow applicator to apply eye shadows at the inner corners of my eyes. The shades are:
-Khaki based Gold Eye Shadow
-Lemon Green with silver micro shimmers
-Forest Green
-Khaki

All the shades are very soft in nature, so one has to be careful while swiping eye shadow brush over it.These seem to be loose powder in pressed form. All shades have pearlish finish and can be paired with each other to create numerous eye makeup looks.Though these seem to be moderately pigmented, these are quite buildable and you get awesome color pay off even without an eye shadow base underneath.I am kind of lazy and do not use an eye primer regularly so for me this quad is a boon.  :p I have done 4-5 eye makeup looks with this quad and found all shades to be wearable. Many of us do not wear green eye shadows because we do not find them wearable. But all shades in this quad are wearable and you can easily carry it with confidence. You wont believe but green shadows make me really very happy and draw me closer to nature.

With a primer, these shades look more pigmented and staying power increases significantly.Without a base, I have seen creasing after 4 hours and with a base I have noticed minimal creasing after 6 hours.I have never liked Street Wear products earlier but this quad is an exception. Its great for the price you get this for.Quantity is pretty good too. Those who are looking for wearable and reasonable green eye shadows should definitely get this quad.

Pros Of The Product:
-The Green with Envy has very pretty shades of green which are wearable!
-All the shades though are moderately pigmented are buildable and give intense look even without a base underneath
-These shades are very soft in texture and blend effortlessly.
-All shades have pearly finish which I prefer over shimmery shades.
-There is no fall out howsoever.
-Without a base these shades stay for nearly 4 hours and with a shade for 6 hours with minimal creasing.
-Quantity provided is great for the price.
-Price is reasonable for the quality, quantity and shades that you get.
-Easily available at all cosmetic stores stocking Street Wear products.
-There are two other quads in this range, one for bridal wear and another one is for creating intense smokey eyes.
-These do not contain parabens in them.
-Great combination of shades-forest green with khaki and gold.
-Eye shadow applicators have been provided.
-A small mirror is lodged inside of the cover which is useful for touch ups.
-Its quite travel friendly and packaging is sleek and attractive.
-Quality is almost similar to Revlon Colorstay 12 hour Eyeshadow Quad.
-It has a see through lid, so you can view the shades.

Cons Of The product:
-No information regarding this product is given at any website.
-There is no highlighter shade in this quad which could be use under the brow bone.
-These eye shadows are very soft ,so if one swipes a bit hard over it can lead to product wastage.
-Not available online at any shopping site.
-Price may seem higher for a Street Wear product.
-Many may not find the lemon green shade wearable. ( I use it mainly at the inner corners)

Staying Power: 4 out of 5

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5

Will I Repurchase It? I may purchase the quad for smokey eyes, I quite liked the pigmentation of it.

My Overall Recommendation:
The Quad 'Green with Envy' has some very pretty wearable shades of green, khaki, gold and lemon green. One can pair it up and create numerous looks with it.All shades have pearlish finish.I would surely recommend this quad to all green eye shadow lovers. This is not only of good quality but also affordable at easily available at several cosmetic stores.

For this Eye makeup I haven't used any eye shadow base, mainly due to my laziness :p I have applied forest green shadow on the lid and khaki shadow at the outer corner and crease.I have applied Loreal gel liner Brown.I had applied a lip color but after having a lunch and coffee, it has entirely gone :p Forgot to use a concealer and a mascara! :D

P.S I have clicked pics after four hours of doing this eye makeup! I wanted to check its staying power. So these are actually good!

Chambor Single Blush Star Candy 57

Hello Friends!
Today I am going to review my first Chambor blush in the shade ‘Star Candy’ which I got from Stylercraze.com recently. I came across with this shade after going through Prachi’s blog post HERE

Quantity- 6 Grams

Price: Rs 495, you can get this at good discount from Medplusbeauty at Rs 420.

Shades Available:
57 Star Candy
59 Star Delight
65 Soft Rose
66 Ambering Rose
61 Soft Strawberry
71 Rose Fonce

My Take on This Product:
Since the day I saw swatches of this blush at Prachi’s blog, I have wanted to grab this for me at the earliest. Chambor blushes come in very sophisticated navy blue box with a mirror and a blusher brush provided inside of it. The patented signature of Chambor is embossed on the top of the box. A plastic sheath is provided to protect the blusher. The brush provided with it is not scratchy but very small for blusher application, I would rather use that for applying eye shadows on my eye lid.

ARTIFICIAL LIGHT:

The particular shade ‘Star Candy’ is one of the most unique shades I have ever seen from any brand. Its an earthy pink shade with golden highlighter distributed all over it in patches. I was amazed to see this beauty. Its texture indeed is very soft and smooth. You can say its little of both powder and cream blush. Though its soft, whenever I swipe my brush across it, there is simply no wastage of product. One swipe of the blusher brush picks enough product for my cheek imparting a healthy luminous glow.

NATURAL LIGHT:

This blush won’t show up on very wheatish to dark skin tones. As a blusher it will show up on fair skin tones nicely, on my wheatish skin it shows up as a very pretty highlighter. It imparts a pearly finish without accentuating my pores. The golden highlighter adds warmth to the shade and makes it a perfect blusher for wedding parties. This blusher cum highlighter stays on my cheeks for 8 hours +. I never keep my makeup more than 8 hours on my face, so I am not sure but its staying power could be more than that. Its staying power is high due to its texture, you can feel its mousse like consistency upon touch. Its lightweight almost feather like and blends like a dream on skin.

If you are looking for a highly pigmented blusher you would be disappointed, but as a blusher cum highlighter it scores really high there. It gives a naturally warm luminous glow to your skin. I apply it most of the times on the apple of my cheeks. I wear it during day time too.  (No option :p) Considering the amount required for each application, this blush is going to last me for a long time.

Pros of the Product:
-It’s a pretty earthy pink blusher with pretty golden highlighter distributed all over it in patches.
-Comes in sophisticated blue box with the chambor sign embossed in it.
-Its texture is very soft and smooth, its something in between both powder and cream blush.
-Never broke me out.
-Imparts a warm luminous glow to my cheeks.
-Staying power is 8 hours +
-It’s a unique blush cum highlighter.
-Quantity is 6 Grams which is pretty good too.
-You require a soft swipe with the brush for each cheek.
-Its going to last me for a long time.
-There are three more shades in this range.
-Though it has pearly finish, still it never accentuates my pores like other blushes.
-You can very much wear it in day time.
-You would never go overboard with this blush.
-Its blends like a dream.
-It has no OTT Sparkles in it.
-Suitable for wedding Parties where staying power  of makeup matters a lot.
-Its travel friendly.
-Its non comedogenic.
-It contains no animal ingredients.
-The blusher with the golden highlighter will give a nice sun kissed glow, so grab one for yourself this summer.  :)

Cons of The Product:
-The blusher wont show up on darker skin tones.
-It may sound pricy for many people.
-The blusher brush is pretty useless.
-Imparts pearly finish which may not cater to everyone’s preference.
-Available online at few shopping sites and chambor outlets only.
-No blush in this range comes with matte finish.
-All shades are not available online or even at the outlet.
-Contains parabens.

Rating:
Packaging: 4.5 out of 5
Texture: 5 out of 5
Staying Power: 5 out of 5
Pigmentation: 3.75 out of 5
Availability: 3.5 out of 5
Price: 4 out of 5
Overall Rating: 4.25 out of 5

Will I repurchase it? Yes of course, I am going to try other shades ‘Soft Rose’ and ‘Ambering Rose’ for sure.

My Overall Recommendation: It’s a pretty blusher cum highlighter which imparts luminous healthy glow to cheeks with a very subtle natural color. I would highly recommend this blusher for wedding parties and other special occasions.

Kindly ignore the mess around my room!  :p

Beware of Jabong.com- Update!

Hello Friends!
Today I am going to share my views and show you my haul pics of my recent haul from Jabong.com.

My Experience :
I came to know about Jabong when Our own Glossybox (who has not cared to send any voucher or box to Glossybox Winners) had given us options to either choose Glossybox or Jabong voucher for our Glossybox Giveaway winners.
I surfed the site and found out that Jabong.com was offering Rs 2000 worth discount voucher on sign up.I couldnt believe my eyes at first, then I surfed their range , signed up for an account and added few products in my account.I realized that the coupon code has to be used four times and to avail the offer each time one has to purchase products worth Rs 1500 and above. So each time you get a discount of Rs 500 on purchase of products worth Rs 1500 and more.
I felt it was not a bad deal after all, I can order at least once and check their service. So I ordered for :

-Fresh line Blue Chamomile Mask
-Votre Under Eye Cream
-Lakme Rouge Blusher Ginger Surprise

They offered COD to my place too, I got my products within 4days of order.i was very excited to see my parcel.Check the haul pics:

When I mailed them up they asked me to return the damaged product with some courier and they will give a voucher worth the courier charges but they compensate anything for my damaged blusher.Read the mail below I received from them:

Dear Tapaswani,

We apologise for all the inconvenience caused to you.

Kindly note that we would not be able to process any refund either in form of vouchers or in form of a new blusher. This is in compliance with the policies and procedures clearly stated on our website.

For more information, please refer to the guidelines below.
"Please note that "Jabong.com's 30 Day Returns Policy" does not apply to Inner wear, Lingerie, Fragrances, Beauty products and Jewellery".

I was really shocked reading this mail.I totally regret shopping from this site.Guys if you are interested in shopping from this site do it entirely on your own risk. You wont get any refunds for any damaged goods that you receive from them.I was shocked with their audacity and wonder when popular online shopping sites can offer shopping vouchers or products compensating for damaged goods, why can't they. From now onwards I wont get lured away by such fraud sites and really would go through 'Return and Refund policies' first for sure.

UPDATE:
Friends, a person from their customer care called me up and asked me to send the damaged product to them and they will arrange for a refund after receiving the damaged product. This is however not applicable in all cases.I mean to say, what about others who do not have a blog and cannot voice their opinion? They don't have a right to get a refund after receiving damaged products?
Well you may consider me insane, but to cross check their service, I placed another order and received my parcel today.Just check the haul pics and decide by yourself:

Guys is this original Lord and Berry Seta Pressed pure eyeshadow??? Its shade South Beach, but I didn't get any information regarding this shade from internet including Lord & Berry Website.

Just see its condition, These people are purposely sending damaged products with each order. So moral of the story is, never ever purchase anything from this site.

Hey Guys, recently a guy from their customer care called me up and informed me that they have sent new products to compensate for the losses.I received all the products from them in good condition within 4 days.Their approach has become very serious and responsible.I liked their service this time. They told me there was some issues in their packaging and they have sorted that out.I just hope their approach would be this responsible always towards every customer.
