Today I am going to review Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 'Rosy Nude'.I have got two shades from this range:

-Rosy Nude

-Soft rose.

My Take On This Product:

I got this lipstick some 3 months back,I had clicked pics long ago but totally forgot to review this lipstick.Recently while checking all the pics on my cam, I realized there are sooooo many products left to be reviewed.Anyways, I got the shade 'Rosy Nude' as I wanted a nude pink shade which wont wash me out and will be warm enough for daily wear.My quest for perfect Pink Nude lipstick ended with this fantabulous shade.

Revlon colorburst lipsticks come in wide range of shades with cream finish.Though these lipsticks are heavy on pocket yet I find these quite worth the price.However I did not like all the shades from this range, most of shades will look pretty on cooler skin tones.

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick comes in sturdy black casing with shade name mentioned at the base.I like its packaging as its travel friendly, I have dropped the lipstick twice by fault yet there was no damage at all.

This lipstick is quite creamy, smooth and gives opaque coverage with two swipes.I am a big fan of cream finish lipsticks but most of such lipsticks available at market bleed horribly. I did not see any bleeding or melting problem with Revlon Colorburst ones ever.This lipstick makes my lips look fuller and healthy and never settles in my fine lines like other creamy lipsticks.

The shade 'Rosy Nude' is a warm pink shade with brown undertones.Its a most versatile shade and will suit warm skin tones well.This is the only shade which I would love to wear with smokey eyes as well as with neutral makeup.Staying power of this lipstick is around 3-4 hours including meals.This lipstick is very lightweight and fades evenly leaving a subtle tint behind.It keeps my lips moisturized and never gives that stretchy feeling like matte lipsticks.I would highly recommend this shade to all who are searching for a warm nude pink shade for daily wear.

-This shade will look flattering on Indian skin tones.
-This is the only nude pink shade that never ever washed me out,even when I wear minimal or no makeup.
-Its texture is smooth and glides nicely on lips.
-This lipstick is very pigmented and gives opaque coverage with two swipes.
-The finish is creamy, but it never accentuates my fine lines like other creamy lipsticks.
-This lipsticks never bleed without  a lip liner.
-Its formula is the best one among all existing lipsticks in market.
-It keeps my lips moisturized for a quite long time.
-Stays on my lips for 3-4 hours including meals.
-It fades evenly leaving a subtle pinkish tint.
-Available at almost all well known cosmetic shops and online shopping sites.
-Packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly.
-Gets easily removed with a makeup remover.
-Comes in more than 20 vibrant shades to choose from.
-Does not melt or break that easily as much I had expected.  :p

Cons Of The product:
-Very very pricy for a lipstick.
-Quantity is lesser in comparison to other lipsticks available in the market. 
-Few lipsticks in this range are poorly pigmented. (I had swatched the shades 'Mauve' and 'Blush' at shops and they were damn poorly pigmented but then tester could be bad too)
-I did not like all shades in this range, most of the shades wont look flattering on Indian skin tones.
-List of Ingredients no where mentioned.
-Revlon also does not allow online shopping sites to give discount on their products.  (What is your problem my dear 'Revlon' if we get a bit of discount? We all are not millionaires and please do remember India is a developing country, so do not overburden us with your weird pricing policy.We too have the right to get good quality makeup at affordable price. )

My Overall Recommendation: Revlon colorburst lipstick 'Rosy Nude' is a beautiful warm nude pink shade with brown undertone.This lipstick will look flattering on Indian skin tones,it looks very natural and subtle on me.This is such a versatile shade that I can pair it up with both smokey eyes and neutral eye makeup.It had creamy finish which keeps my lips moisturized for a long time.It does not bleed and never accentuates fine lines.Its pigmented and texture is pretty smooth.Its formula is the best among all the drugstore lipsticks available in market.

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipstick in Coral Lustre

I got Maybelline Color sensational High Shine Lipstick in shade 'Coral Lustre' few days back from Stylecraze.com.So today I am going to review it for helping you out to take a proper decision.

My Take On This Product:

This summers, I really feel like trying all coral and orange lipsticks.These shades are so summery and brightens my complexion a lot.I have started loving these bold shades a lot these days.Ever since Maybelline has launched their new collection, I really felt like buying their mousse foundation and High shine lipstick.There are some 4 shades, out of that Coral Luster looked really nice.I checked so many famous blogs and found the swatches and the shade to be very funky, bright and almost my kind.Well sorry to say but that is where I was duped.When I found these at an online shopping site, I ordered the shade 'Coral Luster' immediately.I was so excited to receive my package,  but I was crestfallen to see its tip as it had melted.

Anyways now coming to review, Maybelline High Shine lipsticks come in steel grey semi transparent packaging.It contains only 3.5 grams of the product.The shade' Coral Luster' looks absolutely adorable, shiny and juicy in the tube.Its a light coral shade with pronounced pink undertone with fine silver shimmers, which Maybelline claims to impart a Mirror like effect.I was bit disappointed with this shade as its not a pure coral shade which I had desired.This lipstick has very sheer finish, I need some 4-5 swipes to show the color on my lips.My upper lip is pigmented so to cover it up, I need 5 swipes.I have been using it a lot this week and I was astonished to see how small the lipstick has become now, I mean I am really going to finish it up very very soon.

The shade Coral Lustre contains fine silver shimmers which are not gritty but when I apply 4-5 swipes I feel the grittiness of the shimmers and fine lines of my lips get pronounced.Its texture is buttery soft, and it feels moisturizing too but for few hours.It stays hardly 2 hours on my lips excluding meals.After two hours, it leaves a pretty tint behind but with loads of shimmers.The silver shimmers stick to the lips and its very hard to remove those.I need to use a Makeup remover 2 times to removes those shimmers.This is neither a lipstick, nor a gloss and of course not a lip balm.It does not satisfy any of the criteria fully.

You must have heard a saying 'Jack of all traits master of none'.  :p Thats what implies to this very lipstick actually.This lipstick will suite fair to medium skin tones, will wash out people with darker skin tones.I am not at all happy with this lipstick as the quantity is very less and price is on the higher side.

Pros of The product:

-Its a pretty lightened coral shade with pink undertones.

-Will suit fair to medium skin tones easily.

-Very wearable shade.

-Its texture is buttery soft, so glides on lips nicely.

-Available in three more shades in India.

-Its a moisturizing lipstick so one can skip a lip balm.

-Its finish is very sheer, so many people will like it for that.

-Its summery bright shade, which instantly brightens my overall look.

-This lipstick gives a very lightweight feeling, which I love.

Cons Of The product:

-On my lips, it takes some 4-5 swipes to show some color.

-It hardly stays on my lips for 2 hours.

-This lipstick accentuates my fine lines when I swipe it multiple times.

-The shimmer feels gritty with multiple swipes.

-Lipstick fades very soon leaving silver shimmer on lips, Its difficult to remove those shimmers even with a makeup remover.

-Coral Lustre is not a true coral shade.

-Its poorly pigmented.

-My lips get dry after the shade fades away after 2 hours.Thus does not keep my lips moisturized for a long time.

-There are some 10 shades shown in the site but only 4 are available in India.

-They neither serve the purpose of a lipstick nor of a lipgloss.

-Its very pricy for such a dud.Other range of Lipsticks from Maybelline are very good and reasonable.

-Melts very soon.

-Its gets finished fast too. If one uses this everyday, it will hardly last for 20 days.

Will I repurchase it? No way guys, its pricy and not at all worth the price.

My Overall Recommendation: The Shade Coral Lustre is a very sheer Light coral shade with pink undertones.It will suit fair and medium skin tone people a lot.This is not a shade for those with pigmented lips.Its contains fine silver shimmer which does not show much but after the shade fades away after 2 hours, one can clearly see the silver shimmers.Its very difficult top remove the shimmers.It gets finished very soon and melts fast too.

My Take On This Product:

I had seen swatches of several Avon ColorBliss Lipsticks on my Fellow Blogger Rekha's blog post HERE

This post helped me a lot to decide the shades I wanted for myself.I ordered several shades from this range which I will review in upcoming  posts.

Among all the shades, I liked 'Mango Mania' and 'Whisper Pink' 'Rosy Kiss' and 'Truffle' a lot.

The shade 'Mango Mania' is a bright peachy orange lipstick with brown undertones.This shade instantly lifts up my overall look.This shade is really unique and I would suggest to keep minimal eye makeup when you are wearing this shade.

This lipstick is very moisturizing with a staying power of 4-5 hours including one meal.It fades evenly with time leaving a orangish tint.It never ever gets patchy on my lips.Its has matte finish and requires two swipes for opaque coverage.Its somehow similar to Lotus Herbals pure color Lipstick 'Peach creme' but a little more bright than that.It would suit fair and medium skin tones a lot.I bought this lipstick for just Rs 99.I liked it so much that I immediately ordered another one for backup.I highly recommend this shade to everyone who love peachy orange lipsticks.

Pros Of The Lipstick:

-'Mango mania' is bright peachy orange lipstick with brown undertones.

-This shade is very unique shade which can uplift even a dull look instantly.

-This shade makes one look so bubbly and pretty! :p

-These are available for Rs 99 when on offer, so damn reasonable.

-Quantity provided is 4.2 gm which will last for a long time.

-These are matte lipstick so ideal for both night and day wear.

-Two swipes needed for opaque coverage.

-This lipstick never ever dries my lips.

-Keeps my lips moisturized.

-The new ones have several natural ingredients that keep our lips well hydrated for a long time.

-Wide range of shades are available.

-Would suit both fair and medium skin tones.

-Staying power is 4-5 hours.

-It fades evenly leaving a beautiful orangish tint.

-It never gets patchy.

Cons Of The Product:

-Some how I have seen it needs 3 swipes to cover up my upper pigmented lip.

-The shade chart given in catalogue is very misleading.

-These lipsticks are very soft so don't exert much pressure while applying or it may break. (My Whisper pink Lipstick broke) :(

-When I swipe more than twice, I have noticed, this lipstick bleeds.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Will I Repurchase it? I already have two of this shade.So when next I will need to, I would definitely buy it.

Overall Recommendation: For the price you are getting this lipstick, its a steal.Grab as many shades as possible from this range.You would never ever be disappointed.
