Street Wear Perfect Definition Eyeliner- Blue

Hello Friends!
These days I am seriously obsessed with blue liners of all kinds-matte,shimmery,metallic finish, just anything. So when I saw this at an online shopping site, ordered it the same day without much delay. So read my take on this product:

What the company Says?
Gives your eyes the perfect outline

Smudge proof and fade proof. Nice bristles that border your eyes finely in a quick smooth swipe. The make-over leaves you looking like a nymph with those sharp seductive eyes!

Price: Rs 55 for 5 ml

Available in two colors: Black and Blue

My Take on Street Wear Perfect Definition Eyeliner:
These I am using blue liners a lot every other day.Actually I got lots of compliments from my PhD colleagues recently and other hostel mates so kind of feeling really content with my purchase.I have huge collection of blue liners from several brands ranging from Lakme to Nyx.So I wanted a blue matte liquid liner for every day use at reasonable price. Thus after seeing its price and quantity, I purchased it immediately. When I first saw this liner, the first thing that came into my mind was Ujala  liquid blue! He He He! Anyways, this liner has very runny consistency so I kind of shook the bottle and then used it.The liner takes much time to dry up which I do not like at all.Anyways when I applied it on my upper lash line, I found the royal blue color popping nicely. This liner doesn't get streaky if you shake the bottle first and then use.It is quite pigmented and lasts for 4-5hours on my lash line.I tried to smudge it but true to its claim its smudge proof but yes not waterproof which would be a turn off for many of us.But at the price I am getting this liner, am not going to complain at all.

Just one droplet of water created such mess!

Yuck!!!!

Pros of the Product:
>The shade is a nice royal blue color.
>Price is damn reasonable, its just Rs 55 for 5 ml.
>This shade instantly brightens my overall look.
>The application of the liner is even and doesn't get streaky.
>Staying power is 4-5 hours.
>This liner is indeed smudge proof.
>Availability is not an issue.
>Nice matte blue shade ideal for daily wear.
>Liner gets easily removed with a cleanser.

Cons of the Product:

>The consistency of the liner is quite runny.
>The liner takes much time to dry.
>No website is there, thus we are not aware what all new products are launched.
>List of complete ingredients is no where mentioned.
>It doesn't have a felt tip applicator, so those who are not accustomed with liquid liners may face problems.
>Lastly this liner is not at all waterproof, see the swatches above.

Rating? 3.5 out of 5

Will I repurchase it? I wont need to and I will look for the waterproof alternative.

My Overall Recommendation? You can purchase it, if you like matte blue colors for daily use at reasonable price and you are not much concerned regarding non waterproof nature of the liner.

Deborah Trio Hi-Tech Eye Shadow -( Black Dalia 13)

Hello Friends!
Today I am reviewing one of my favorite trios that I possess. It has an amazing combination of three shades:
-White Shimmer
-Midnight Blue
-Grayish-Black
Seriously must have palette for parties!

What the Company Says:
Handy palettes containing a trio of perfectly coordinated ultra-iridescent eye shadows for the stylish and sophisticated look of a professional make-up. It is formulated to minimize the risk of allergies.

List of Ingredients:
Lots many cant type. :p

Price:Rs 495, Rs 420 from Urban touch.com

My Take on the product:

After buying the Deborah trio Gold Fever, I liked this particular palette a lot and wanted to have it as soon as possible! It has got the combination of all my favorite shades. This palette would be a dream palette for all smoky eye makeup lovers.Whenever I use it dry, these shades I find quite less pigmented with very less staying power. The blue shade seems blackish on my lids when used dry but when used wet it looks midnight bluish shade, which is truly awesome. The midnight blue shade has very fine blue and black shimmer, greyish black shade has very fine sliver and grey shimmer. These shades look really pigmented with almost zero fall out and enhanced staying power whenever used wet.

When used dry

When used wet

Yes the EOTD is not good enough but am trying and learning.I am in need of a blending brush actually.

Pros of Deborah Hi tech Eye shadow Black Dahlia:
>This palette has an awesome combination of three gorgeous colors:
-Midnight Blue
-Greyish Black
-Shimmer

>These are hypoallergenic.
>These shades can be used both dry and wet.
>T hese are baked shadow, so a little is required and will go a long way.
>Nice attractive packaging.
>Several palettes are available in this range.
>These shades are really pigmented when used wet.
>Staying power is good.
>Contains very fine shimmer,no chunky glitters.
>Reasonable price.
>The eye shadow applicator is of pretty good quality.
>Great combination for creating smokey eyes.
>Must have palette for parties.
>It adds an extra oomph factor to my look.
>Very smooth texture.

Cons of Deborah Hi-Tech  Eye Shadow Black Dahlia:

>These don't seem pigmented when used dry.
>The blue shade seems black on my lid when used dry.
>Contains lots many chemicals including parabens.
>Availability is an issue.( Search online shopping sites)

Rating: 4 out of 5

Will I repurchase? No, this will last me for a long time so wont need to.

Elle 18 Kajal

Hello Friends!
I am an ardent fan of kohls of all kinds since childhood.I cant skip using kohl even a single day.I have used kohls from several brands rather you can say almost all brands available in India! So I want to share my experience with Elle 18 kajal with all of you.

What the Company Says?
Elle18 presents Kajal with a rich and lustrous black color, it is enriched with almond oil.

Price: Rs 65

My Take on Elle 18 Kajal:

Elle 18 has revamped its entire range and has come out with some new products in their Color Bomb range. The kajal and eye liner were already there in the old range but the new ones I feel are much better quality wise with attractive eye catching package.I have used Kohl from Lotus, VLCC, Himalaya, Biotique, Blue Heaven, Lakme,Faces, Maybelline I like Lotus one a lot, even I like Lakme kohl ultimate and Maybelline Colossal kajal but they are less kohl like more liner kind. The best I felt was that of Faces one.

When I used Elle 18 kajal, I saw it was really pigmented with glossy finish. Its fragrance is similar to home made kajals. It doesn't smudge a lot and stays for 4-5 hours easily with slight smudging but no racoon eyes of course. For the price I am getting it, I would buy it again and again.

Pros of Elle 18 Kajal:

>This kohl is enriched with almond extracts.
>It has nice pleasant home made kajal like fragrance.
>Its really pigmented kajal, see the pics above.
>This kohl has nice glossy kind finish.
>Attractive cute packaging.
>Reasonable price when compared to other kohls.
>Staying power is 4-5 hours with slight smudging.
>Easily  available at cosmetic and stationary shops.
>No irritation when used on waterline.

Cons of Elle 18 Kajal:

>Its in stick form so with use , it will get blunt and it would be difficult to use.
>Not completely smudge proof kohl.( I don't expect that from a kohl though).

Rating: 4.25 out of 5

Will I repurchase it? May be, other than this kohl I liked Faces kajal a lot.So will buy that again.

My Overall Recommendation: This kohl is a must have for makeup beginners and kohl lovers. Its inexpensive and really good.
